Dr. Christian Kim

Dr. Christian Kim is a board-certified ophthalmologist with specialized expertise in the diagnosis and management of cataracts and glaucoma. He earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. Following medical school, Dr. Kim completed an ophthalmology residency at Case Western Reserve University, where he was the chief surgical resident and gained extensive clinical and surgical experience across a wide spectrum of eye conditions. Driven by a commitment to advancing care for patients with glaucoma, Dr. Kim went on to pursue a glaucoma fellowship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he trained in the latest surgical techniques and medical therapies for glaucoma care.

He is a member of numerous medical and ophthalmological societies, including the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the American Glaucoma Society.

With a patient-centered approach, Dr. Kim is dedicated to providing thoughtful, individualized treatment plans using both cutting-edge technology and proven surgical techniques—including minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), laser therapies, and traditional procedures. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Kim enjoys traveling, staying active indoors and outdoors, and playing word games.
